The Pasadena Outlaws are a proud professional development
basketball organization competing in the National Basketball League – United States (NBL-US). Founded originally as the Texas Outlaws, our journey began during the 2024 NBL-US season, where we quickly earned a reputation for grit, heart, and determination despite not having a home court in our inaugural year.
Our team was born from resilience—playing on the road, building chemistry on the fly, and showcasing undeniable talent. But it wasn’t until a fateful game in May 2024 that everything changed. During a regular-season matchup against the HBCU Movement, we took the court at Pal Gymnasium in Pasadena, Texas. That night, the gym was packed, the energy was electric, and the community responded with overwhelming support.
The game became a turning point—not only for the team, but for the future of basketball in Pasadena. Recognizing the potential and passion of the city, NBL-US President Kevin Williams Sr. officially announced the team’s relocation and rebranding. As a result, beginning in the 2026 season, the Texas Outlaws were reborn as the Pasadena Outlaws, with Pal Gymnasium proudly named our official home.
The mission of the Pasadena Outlaws is simple yet powerful:
To empower, uplift, and represent the city of Pasadena, Texas through elite-level basketball, community engagement, and long-term player development.
We are more than just a basketball team—we are a platform for aspiring athletes, a beacon for the youth, and a pillar of unity for our city. We aim to help local players reach college programs, earn professional contracts, and gain opportunities both domestically and abroad.
Our vision is to build a championship-caliber organization on and off the court:
To become one of the most respected franchises in the NBL-US and WNBL-US.
To make Pal Gymnasium a hub for basketball excellence and community pride.
To ensure every game day feels like a celebration of Pasadena culture.
To help players grow into professionals, leaders, and role models.
To create a basketball culture that inspires the next generation.
With a new General Manager at the helm and a dedicated leadership group guiding both the Outlaws (Men’s) and the Lady Outlaws (Women’s) teams, we are ushering in a new era of professionalism, accountability, and pride.
Located in the heart of Pasadena, Pal Gymnasium is more than a facility—it's where our story began. The support from our fans during that historic 2024 game sparked a revolution, and Pal Gym has since become the heartbeat of Outlaws basketball.
Every home game is a homecoming. Loud, packed, energetic—and always welcoming to new fans, families, and future stars.
The Pasadena Outlaws are deeply committed to serving the Pasadena community. We believe basketball is a tool for education, empowerment, and transformation. That’s why we will:
Partner with Pasadena ISD and local schools for youth mentorship and athletic development.
Host basketball clinics, open gyms, and family nights at Pal Gymnasium.
Launch community service initiatives, including food drives, school visits, and free ticket nights.
Offer internship and leadership opportunities for local high school and college students.
Support local businesses through sponsorship opportunities and vendor partnerships.
Pasadena isn’t just our home—it’s our family.
As we head into the 2026 NBL-US and WNBL-US seasons, the future has never looked brighter. With new leadership, a home gym full of loyal supporters, and a clear vision, the Pasadena Outlaws and Lady Outlaws are ready to put the city on the national basketball map.
We invite you to be a part of the journey.
